The Heron's Cove™ Irish Restaurant is open daily from 19.00 April to October.
From November to March we are open for dinner by prior booking.
We are open all year for special occasions and small functions, lunch or dinner

We use the very best of Irish and local West Cork fresh produce with no shortcuts or compromises to give you a special dining experience.

The Heron's Cove Breakfast Menu

Full Irish Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 9am and 10am. If you prefer, we can arrange a Continental Breakfast for you at any time convenient to you.

Our breakfast is simply whatever you would like us to cook for you. We have Fresh Fruit, Cereals, Bunalun Organic Oats and West Cork Yogurts followed by Traditional Irish Breakfast - as full as you like. Choose from West Cork Smoked Bacon, Tim McCarthy's Sausages, Clonakilty Black and White Pudding, Tomatoes, Irish Mushrooms and Irish Hash Browns. Murphy's Upton Eggs can be boiled, fried, poached, scrambled or made into an omelette with Ballineen Cheddar, Gubbeen or Durrus Cheese. Or perhaps you would like a cheese plate with Irish Farmhouse Cheeses. If the breakfast you prefer is something else, we can cook that too. Our homemade Brown Soda Bread, Toast, Bandon Creamery Butter, Irene's Marmalade, Michael Pat's Honey and Jennifer Burchill's Jams are there for you too.

The Heron's Cove™ Winerack has a wide selection of wines for you to make your own choice - no wine list to contend with. You can read the bottle labels and discuss your choice with the waiter or your fellow diners, if you wish. Choose a bottle and it will be opened for you at your table. White wines are served from the cooler.

The Heron's Cove has a full Licence. A wide range of aperitifs, spirits, premium whiskeys, beers, champagnes and dessert wines etc. is stocked.
